Where did you find a picture of John the Baptist.
One of the highlights of my three week trip to Haiti was getting to hear John preach. He spoke on Joseph while I was there, and on trusting God through difficult circumstance. It was one of the most convicting and challenging messages I have ever heard, and I pray that I was changed by the Lord through it. Thank you, John!

John will need to trust God through the challenges of watching the funds climbing to get shaved--and then trust God during and after the shave. (Our whole family is watching the fun now, and it's being great fun for us! GOOO Heartline funds!!)
Remember John sharing about "forgetting" As the disciples woke Jesus up in the storm, Jesus said, "Did you forget (what happened yesterday). The loves and fish. I forget too what God has done in my life. Thanks John for all you do.:)

They made me get dressed up for the picture. The world is full of bald guys and way full of people that for reasons that elude me cut and comb their hair. I should be considered a national treasure, a rare find, a special person and I'm thinking that the contest should be: GIVE 50K and John WON'T CUT OR COMB HIS BEAUTIFUL HAIR FOR 5 YEARS.

So I show this man's picture to my son and say, "when we go to Haiti we are going to give this many a big bag of candy." To which Wisler says, "Give him anything he wants." I think Wisler might be a little affraid of this man... Can't wait for them to meet in person.:)
If he is afraid now, imagine how afraid he would be if I had no hair at all.
Just a thought...when you do indeed shave his head, how about donating the hair to Locks of Love? Would he go for it?
Even though I think John won't be John without his wild mane, I am going to help the cause out! First because I want to that hospital up and running, and second because I am dying to know what he would look like without his signature look! :)
