I am off to Port to pick up Britt in a few minutes. We're all excited to see her. Isaac has asked about her every day since I returned - he cannot believe she CHOSE to stay away from him an extra five days. I am sure she'll be sad after saying goodbye to Chris/Baywatch for a couple months -- but we'll be busy filling out college applications and student loan info and looking for scholarship opportunities so hopefully we can keep her busy and distracted from missing him.

Apparently Marianne Williamson is sort of an "I'm okay, you're okay" kind of lady who calls herself a "positive life teacher." Okay. So ... I'm not new age-ish. I am guessing you all know that by now. I'm old-school. Bible school. I think there most certainly is absolute truth.
So -- for clarity sake, the quote works because it reminds us we are all here for a singular purpose - to bring God glory. Being talented and beautiful and yada yada yada - that is all temporal -- you got that way because of Him -- use those gifts for HIS glory -- and the results ought to be positive. Let your light shine - I can get with that.
Liking this quote, does not mean I agree with her theology, anything else she says, or consider her an expert.
