Today was one of "those" days. For once I don't feel like blabbering on about it ... it was just a bad day. We felt misunderstood and discouraged. Blah to both.
The team is here. I didn't burn their dinner. So there is that.
During dinner I asked Isaac to come into the dining room and introduce himself. At the top of his voice (without yelling) he said "HI - I am Isaac, I am from Minnesota." Then I said, "Tell them where you were from BEFORE Minnesota." He got a blank stare and said "I don't know where I was from before that." I love how we bring the kid back, try to teach him about his country and his people and he still thinks of himself as a Minnesotan. He has always been so unimpressed with Haiti and I don't know how to convince him otherwise. He talks every-single-day about going to MN this fall to have the baby. He is pretty much living for late August.
Paige is finishing up her 6th grade curriculum, preparing for a standardized test in a month. Britt is waiting impatiently for her ACT scores to come back. Grandma and Grandpa are charged with checking the mail at our rented house religiously until we have results. Once she has that number she can apply to the schools she likes.
That's all I've got.
