Yesterday at lunch at John and Beth's house John tried hard to send a trombone home with us. He failed. We told the kids John would truly enjoy hearing it - so it was a much better idea to leave it at his house and go over to play it whenever they want.

I got my degree in Music Ed. so I had to take the trombone for a semester in college. My husband likened my playing to a dying moose. Good idea to leave the trombone where it is. :)
ha! we are proud owners of a trombone ourselves!

we've had the thing for two years now and seriously... rarely does a day go by that we don't hear that thing at least once! 2 people in our house love it and 3 of us hate it. I'm sure you can guess as to the breakdown of those numbers! ;0

My first year in my district I was hand selected* to teach two kids beginning trombone. I seriously doubt either of those kids are still playing.

"76 Trombones led the big parade..." Has Hope seen that musical - "The Music Man"?! That's the first thing I thought when I saw the first photo! That musical is an oldie, but a goodie!
Have you seen "Glee" on Fox? Too old for Hope, but I love the music!

I forgot to mention...I love Hope's hat! She is totally hip!
my husband plays the trombone. i told him i want him to be a the sexy guitar player that all the girls swoon over at the party. he says thats Troy's job LOL
No FOX here ... or TV at all. I have heard the buzz about Glee but we stick to our 8 year old scratched Barney DVD's and Annie, The Sound of Music, and Hairspray. :)
No problem, I know that you are holding out for the snare drum that I have.
