shout out to wake forest

Tim & Amie & their five kids

Wednesday night we had the privilege of speaking with a group of about 15 kids in Wake Forest, NC that worked together to raise money for one day of operation of the Harbor House.  The Internet and Skype worked for exactly .2 seconds and then we had to resort to a cell phone call.

The group of kids that raised the funds are not without their own struggles. They are kids living in government housing and attending an inspirational program our friends Tim and Amie operate.  (Go here for more info.)

We're grateful they are helping the kids think about others outside of Wake Forest, North Carolina, and even the USA. We think that's awesome.
