Five hours without electricity and running water (and internet and phone) feels like an eternity. My name is not Laura Ingalls Wilder. I like modern conveniences. I have no idea how all of my neighbors do life without these things.
Britt's best comment, "I hope we don't have water, I've always wanted to bathe in the river/dam." (She can still go out there and do it, I am going to remind her of that tonight when she goes to get in her clean shower.)
They have put a band-aid on the problem the generator has. We need a more permanent fix sometime in the not too distant future. Bottom Line: IT WORKS. Woo Hoo. Thanks for praying.
De ga je! (Make it work)
Tonight I will try to upload a bunch more photos, both from the market and from the feeding program excursions and from the generator scare. It takes a long time so it just depends on how tired we are by the time the kids are down and there is time to do photos.
Happy and thankful-
Tara
