Now that the rain has started the reality of how important good shelter is, has hit us in a new way. Not only are we some of the most wealthy people in a five mile radius, but we also live in one of two of the nicest buildings in the area. (The Hoppa's live in the other one.) Most nights it starts to rain at about 10pm. It rains very heavy for a good twenty to thirty minutes or more. Not one drop of water drips on me as I sit listening to it. Judging by the looks of the homes our neighbors live in, it is safe to bet that they are not nearly so lucky. We listen to the rain and we wonder how they cope with the mud and wetness.
