Until our internet issues are solved blogger almost won't upload photos for us because the connection is way too slow. We also cannot make phone calls. It needs to be resolved soon.
On one hand, it is totally annoying and frustrating.
But, on the other hand, it seems a bit trite to crab and complain about it since I am sitting in a lighted room on a computer with a fan blowing on me and if I need to get a pop I will get it from a cold refrigerator. After I drink my pop, I've got running water to wash the cup.
My problems with my internet speed are small, I recognize this.
The dog seems fine to us. The scare is over, crisis averted. It is always nice when you don't kill your daughers pet while she is away.
The three little ones are doing well, enjoying lots of time on the swings and in the yard without the school kids around. Spring Break here was extended to two full weeks because of the next round of local elections. It is a much different atmosphere and noise level without the school in session. We prefer the noisy days over this eerie quiet.
Today Troy read a number of scriptures to me during a difficult part of our day. I am sharing my favorite. The study notes below the scriptures talked about the reality of feeling the presence of Christ, and the pressure of sin all at once. We enjoy the peace that comes from being made right with God, but we still face daily problems that often help us grow. If we remember these two sides of the Christian life, we will not grow discouraged as we face problems. Instead, we will learn to depend on the power available to us through Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:1-5 (NKJV)
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;and perseverance, character, and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
