Haitian Hapiness Defined and Explained

Haitian Hapiness- (verb) Abnormally frequent and abnormally fluid evacuation of the bowels.

The phrase was coined by John McHoul.(Well, he was the first person to say it to us.) He says it is called this because you are happy that you don't have it.

If you come here for any length of time, we can guarantee you'll experience the happiness for yourself.

John takes his friends who have it, on long bumpy car rides. We are not nearly so cruel. We will just snicker behind your back.

Tomorrow we lead the team up the mountain to Petit Bwa. Here's hoping no one is experiencing the Haitian Hapiness on our journey.
