Our Team:
Has arrived safely, are from Illinois, are very nice. The adult leaders are film crew guys that will be doing all sorts of footage to produce a new promotional video for Lifeline. We saw the one they made two years ago, they are VERY good at what they do. Along with them, they brought a group of High School and College age kids. 3 boys, and the rest are girls. As far as teams go, this will be easy. Woo Hoo.
Our Day:
We were busy cooking cleaning and doing the everyday things. Beth and John were out here for a part of the day, and that is always a treat. Troy was trying to nap until John came in and laid down in bed next to him ... we were all entertained, except Troy. We had Donald and Arnold get the full dose of the correct Malaria medicine for him, so by Friday this will be a no-nap zone. Woo Hoo.
Our Deep Thoughts:
Whatever sort of struggle or oppression or hard time we felt over the past few weeks, seems to have lifted. We give God the glory for that. Things feel more peaceful, more manageable and all in all things are looking up. After such an easy first-three month adjustment, it was difficult to face a bunch of challenges all at once in late April but God is faithful and He brought us through it. Woo Hoo.
Our Plans:
This team will be fun. There are lots of things to accomplish. Britt and I are most looking forward to the hike to Petit Bwa on Saturday. Paige gets to lead her first official, paid tour of the village tomorrow morning. The meals are planned, there is little stress and lots of excitement. Woo Hoo.
Our Prayers:
That God is teaching us something. That God is teaching you something. That God will protect us. That God will protect you. That we will grow in the grace and knowledge of Him. That you will grow in the grace and knowledge of Him. Amen. Woo Hoo.
Good Night!
Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in. Aim at earth and you get neither.
