You would think we went for a spa treatment and pedicures, we were so excited about our day out of here ...
Beth and John do an awesome job with their seminar and even Robenson (Lifeline interpreter) enjoyed it and said he thought it was good. There were lots of laughs and lots of cultural differences that were made glaringly obvious. We hope Beth can share her knowledge and powerpoint skills in the village some day soon.
(We took Robenson mainly because it seems unwise for three white women to be alone in the city ... we need his Creole skills. Today we would have been fine without him, but you never know what will happen so it was the safer bet.)
After the seminar we visited the baby house and chatted a bit before heading to Pizza for lunch and to get some groceries. When you work where you live and live where you work, a Saturday away from work/home and the little kids feels like a big kiss from God. It was really fun.
We are going to church tomorrow, Troy's first time out of bed in three days, we're praying he continues to feel better. Have a great Sunday! ~Tara
