Unreedemed

Earlier this year we went through a time of great sorrow, grief, and anger. It was not something we could share here but every day for a month or so it was hard to get out of bed and face the world.

We have been experiencing healing and as we continue to struggle through the questions we have for God and for ourselves, this song has proven to be powerful.

I am hoping it might be an encouragement to some of you in the dark and difficult places in your lives. Healing happens so much slower than we would like for it to, but in it we've been grateful for the love so many have shown us and for the grace of the Father.

Thanks for posting this today. Their words and music are so meaningful and powerful. I have been listening to this CD everyday since Kristin got it last week. As I continue to listen to it, it will remind me to pray for you and your family.

I came across this song a few weeks ago and fell in love. I shared it with a friend who was not so keen on it..*sigh*..So I thought maybe I was just a sap, but NO. Turns out I just shared with the wrong friend! *Grin*

Love it.

hurt and doubt...about where was God and what could I have done differently....bring me to closeness with God.....eventually. I pray for you guys, the hurt has to be so painful, know that people care for you. long distance hugs aren't as good as the real things, but for now.....LDH.

I have been listening to this CD since I got it on the day it came out. I LOVE THIS SONG, and really every other song on the CD. This song is so powerful and the more I listened to it, the more powerful the words became. It is sooooo true, God will make a miracle out of our 'messes'!!!!!

Funny you should post this today, as I was praying for you and the family. Glad to hear that healing is progressing for all concerned, despite its slowness. :~D

Beautiful! I don't know if you've ever read Todd's wife Angie's blog (from Selah) but it is a powerful witness to God's love and grace during grief. It's called "Bring the Rain" and it's a blog (along with yours) that I visit often.

He is finally healing my heart after nearly 30 years.
We must keep faith
We must keep hope
We must keep courage
We must keep Christ.
be encouraged and know you are loved by a wonderful God who still heals.
be blessed

Wow, Tara, that is so powerful. Sometimes it's refreshing to be reminded of those truths instead of a trite message about God's timing, etc.

I am so glad you are feeling some healing.
