Love, Forgiveness, Faith, Hope

"Love means to love that which is unloveable, or it is no virtue at all; forgiving means to pardon the unpardonable, or it is no virtue at all; faith means believing the unbelievable, or it is no virtue at all; and to hope means hoping when things are hopeless, or it is no virtue at all."
G.K. Chesterton

People are hurting everywhere. Generally when people are nasty or ugly it is because of pain or fear or shame. As "anonymous" doesn't know your heart, likely you don't know his/hers. I don't the person who left the comment, but I am sorry you were hurt. I hate when anyone is hurting. It's a flaw of mine. I deal with the "nasty" side of people a lot and I have never been more aware of their need for love too.

Your link frequently leads me back to "The Long Defeat." Isn't it strange how almost all your posts when filtered through that one post makes all this crap so much worth living. Get the kid back here. She's my favorite you know except our long lost plastic surgeon. Miss you guys. Hope to see Troy tomorrow, that is unless he's out running around with Anderson or one like him.
