kenbe fem

The Haitians say, "kenbe fem" or hold/stand firm. Our prayers in the days ahead are for exactly that. And for those coming to their aid - that they will be able to do the same.

May we all show a tiny piece of the face of Jesus to this suffering and devastated nation and her beautiful and resilient people. May heads be clear and tempers be calm and peace be known.

KENBE FEM

Your sharing over the last few days has certainly shown what a tremendous woman of faith you are. I'm so thankful you were able to get 5 of your kids to safety in the states. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Haiti. May God's grace and mercy shine.

We are praying. You are all doing a wonderful job. Please stay strong, try to rest and keep healthy. Know that we over here can't even imagine what you all must be dealing with there and the sadness and continued trauma. Know that we love you for being strong and truly being HIS hands and feet. And on top of everything going on- still a moment to update the world who is hungry for information about everything.Thank you thank you thank you.

Thank you for the encouragement. It's easier to keep my chin up and my eyes on the Saviour when I am reminded that those suffering so very much are dusting off, holding their heads high, and kenbe fem.

Praying for you and your children and all of Haiti.
My heart is heavy for the children of Haiti. Wishing I could physically help, but prayer is all I have to offer right now.

Your blog has mobilized me to prayer like nothing else I've read. Any physical needs we can help with?

Oh Tara we have been praying since we heard the news. Like others I want to say please take care of yourself too. I know that may be hard with all the need but please try. We will keep praying for you and Troy and all of Haiti.

I am new to your blog. Was going to be part of a mission trip on February 13 to Petionville. I believe my husband who is a paramedic may be taking my place on the trip. He has been there twice already and knows the area. I am encouraged by your emails because you have really helped me focus on what to be praying for. Courage, bravery, love, and of course the care the people of Haiti need right now. Thank you so much for loving & caring for the people of Haiti and for sharing your thoughts with us. We will continue to pray for everyone in Port au Prince - the residents of Haiti, the rescue workers, the medical teams, those distributing food and water, and the missionaries. We love you all.

2 Chronicles 20:17
You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.

God-of-the-Angel Armies, El Elyon, Creator, Owner, and Ruler over all the earth ~
Please deploy Your angels, Your weapons, Your supernatural, almighty power over this battle of destruction, hurt, and chaos....replace it with Your restoration, Your healing, and Your peace. I stand in agreement with Troy and Tara that heads will remain clear and tempers be calm ~ may Your wisdom prevail and in all the suffering, may they see the One Who came to give them joy.
Help them, dear Father, help them as only You can...pour out Your mercy and grace. Strengthen them emotionally, physically and spiritually.
In Jesus' victorious, awesome name, I pray. AMEN and AMEN

Last night a team of about 20 college students got down on our knees and cried out for Haiti. We continually were in prayer for resurrection. We know God is using this to bring people to Him. He revealed to us that He did bring resurrection and is bringing resurrection and we have faith that He can do all things! Know that you have a group of college of kids from Brookings, SD that are praying and fasting for your family and for all people in Haiti!!!
