Two hours later ...

Jen and I were on the way to go try to help the Salvation Army people with their baby when Beth called to say that Jen and the Anesthesiologist were needed asap. The lady that Beth and Jonna had in labor needed an emergency c-section due to an abruption.

We grabbed Dr. Steve and got to the house in less than five minutes. Dr. Chris the OB/GYN was ready to go ... in five minutes baby boy was out and Jen was working on getting him breathing again. Chris sewed Mom Jenny back up with the help of Jonna ... Dr. Jen gave baby tons of oxygen ... and all is well.

Having an OB Doc & ER Peds Doc here saved Mom and Baby from certain death. Another three or four minutes and it would have been an entirely different story. These amazing Doctors are here in response to the earthquake, but got to help save a family from a different sort of disaster.

Again God showed Himself to us ... and the timing was perfect.

go away adrenaline - Goodnight!

Thanks for keeping up with the blog despite everything that's going on. I was looking at the International Justice Mission site and they said that this article:http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/201001u/haiti-trafficking is a must read for anyone doing relief work in Haiti right now. The quake has left many women and children vulnerable to sex trafficking.
God Bless

Hang in there Tara. Thank you so much for updating the blog when we know you just want to sleep. Got the Help Haiti shirt from the Ivey's and have been wearing it everyday since and talking to people about it.

Thank you Jesus, for each of the beautiful babies that have been born these last few days. Thank you for protecting them during the earthquake. Thank you for providing exceptional medical care at Heartline, Salvation Army, and the Comfort. Heal and strengthen their mamas. Touch each of their lives with your love as they grow up. Raise them to be strong, godly leaders in their nation. Thank you for each of their precious lives. Amen.

So glad you had a night of miracles and joy in the midst of so much hardship and sorrow. Keep up the good work!!!

I am daily blown away by the work you are doing. I am praying for you all and for Haiti. One of my best friends, Karris is working in a childrens home in Haiti and she tells me the stories of how tough it can be. I can not even imagine just how tough it is now. I am praying that God makes you all tougher than the situations that you face daily. No matter how tough you day has been He is tougher.

Thankyou for keeping us up o date with all the happenings, it makes it easier to pray for you as we know what to pray for.

God bless.

Tara and Jen, you make an amazing team, all of you. Dr. Jen should be allowed to wear flip flops WHERE EVER AND WHENEVER she wants. Wish I had some formal medical training other than being the mother of 5 and spending many hours at the dr.'s office through the years. I would be there in a heartbeat. Doing what I can here though instead.

God's peace. I will sing a little louder for you in church today Tara which really isn't a good thing but I know you are missing worship today.

Thank you so much for doing what you do each and every day under extreme circumstances. When I went to bed last night, you were just leaving to check on the moms and I woke up several times and prayed for you and them. What wonderful news to wake up to. Praying for your team in NJ!

Wow, I love Jesus!!!!!!! He is still doing miracles today, so we can see Him and know He is with us. A baby, shows us He cares about a momma and her little one. I am touched this morning before I go to church. I will share.

Tara,

I'm confused, isn't this JOhn and Beth McHoul's orphange??

The link is on Jane Bishop Marcoux's facebook.....

You may have to play with this link, but it basically is a news report that the children at Marantha O are sleeping outside with no food and water??

People from Glen Ellyn Bible church in Illinois are petitioning Janet Napa....(sp) to have the kids come here and be placed in foster homes.....

I think this is what is happening with churches all over America - wanting to bring the kids in to foster homes here in the US.....

Send me a note if there is something I can do:

We lift you all up in prayer at all hours of the day and night. We continue to plead with God for supplies and energy through supernatural means. He hears us and provides for you. We are all connected through the unbelievable power of the Holy Spirit. A healthy baby born in the aftermath of ruins is a miracle child of God.
Thank you thank you thank you for continuing to keep us in touch. This is a vital lifeline for prayer and intercession on your behalf. We may feel like it's nothing, these prayers of ours, but the Lord impresses me that He is able to do immeasurably, abundantly MORE than we ask or imagine. Jesus keep you in His healing hands today.

Ericka -
That is not our Maranatha --- there are tons of ministries with similar names down here. Our kids are mostly out of here and the 6 left will hopefully go soon ... they are totally well taken care of and not suffering at all.
