Had a bit slower day at the clinic today. A Sunday without regular things does not seem like a Sunday at all --- yet the calender insists that it is.
Troy's tweets will have to be the main source of news today, I'm too tired to write. He had another insanely interesting day.
We hope to follow up on every patient we sent for care at other locations - so when I know about Jean I will let you know. That is one hard-core-tough ten year old boy.
We have "home church" at our house later tonight ... planning to listen to Troy play guitar and sing together and just cry for awhile. We all need it I think.

Praying that the sweet rain of God's Spirit rain upon you! Rains of refreshing!
Sounds like a beautiful way to end your day... glad you got a bit of a break today!
May the lord bless your rest and refresh you all with the refreshing that only comes from Him.
Jesus said, Whatever you've done for the least of these you've done to Me.
Thank you,
Elizabeth
God bless you all. Thank you for your service to our Lord. Much love.
God bless all of you! I pray that the God of all comfort holds you in His arms and gives you the deep, deep comfort and refreshing that only He can give. And, please, strengthen one another. Crazy mental, emotional, and even physical things can happen when the adrenaline stops. Hold each other up, even as so many who are so far away are spiritually holding you up. You are So loved and appreciated.
Get some rest. Worship the Lord. Cry together. Pray together.
I wrote another post about you on my blog yesterday, asking for others to pray for you.
We are lifting you up!

God Bless you. Here is a thought for tonight from Oswald Chambers...
THE DESTITUTION OF SERVICE
"Though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved." 2 Corinthians 12:15
Natural love expects some return, but Paul says - I do not care whether you love me or not, I am willing to destitute myself completely, not merely for your sakes, but that I may get you to God. "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor." Paul's idea of service is exactly along that line - I do not care with what extravagance I spend myself, and I will do it gladly. It was a joyful thing to Paul.
The ecclesiastical idea of a servant of God is not Jesus Christ's idea. His idea is that we serve Him by being the servants of other men. Jesus Christ out-socialists the socialists. He says that in His Kingdom he that is greatest shall be the servant of all. The real test of the saint is not preaching the gospel, but washing disciples' feet, that is, doing the things that do not count in the actual estimate of men but count everything in the estimate of God. Paul delighted to spend himself out for God's interests in other people, and he did not care what it cost. We come in with our economical notions - "Suppose God wants me to go there - what about the salary? What about the climate? How shall I be looked after? A man must consider these things." All that is an indication that we are serving God with a reserve. The apostle Paul had no reserve. Paul focuses Jesus Christ's idea of a New Testament saint in his life, viz.: not one who proclaims the Gospel merely, but one who becomes broken bread and poured out wine in the hands of Jesus Christ for other lives.
I'm posting links on my blog to your blog, or Jen's, or RHFH, or Kim and Patrick, or Heartline every day. To anyone who asks me how to sort out who to give to, I refer them to your work, because following you is amazing for a little woman in faith in California. Earthquake survivor myself, who has seen people crushed in buildings, I can uphold you in prayer with a certain fervancy...
I keep bugging you about the hangar at the airport belonging to MAF, Mission Aviation Fellowship. Their website says they are a receiving site for shipments of supplies, medical and otherwise that have no designated recipients. I saw a photo of them off-loading a box marked "Medicines."
Can Troy find that hangar? Or can you post some way for MAF to reach you, other than this blog?
Yes, the news media has dropped Haiti from the lead news, but news is still available here if you look for it. And MANY are looking for news, following you and upholding you to God's merciful power every day! Be strong, strengthen those weakening knees. Be of good cheer, for your mighty Lord will supply all your needs
Have just started following your blog. We continue to pray for the people of Haiti -- that God's light would shine brighter than the darkness. The media may leave, but you are not forgotten by the people of God around the world. Thank you for being His hands and feet.
Just read about the All Partners Access Network created by the military to coordinate assistance between agencies and small groups... are you guys in the loop? Thought it might help, since you're still online:

CNN still has two front page pieces on Haiti, although includes other stories as well. You are not forgotten and I bet AC and the staff at CNN are reading your blog as well as Troy's tweets as fervently as I do.
Please get some rest so you can continue to not only do good work, but continue to tell the world so poignantly about life in Haiti as the road ahead unfolds.
I am praying for the people of Haiti and for all of the workers there helping. Please know the people of the United States care. We are raising money and awareness.
God bless you and your family.

praying that the Lord will give you strength and grace for each day...thank you for being his hands and feet to the people of haiti...as i read your stories i know the people of haiti feel Christ's love for them through your actions...i am praying hourly for you and your team.
Still holding you fervently before the Lord each day. You are NOT forgotten. Your blog posts and tweets are shared with enthusiasm by our whole family, and then the extra important ones get shared on Facebook. I visualize that when the dust settles . . . this experience will lead to the clinic turning into a bigger, and better thing, staffed with a Doctor. Maybe not, but that is what I'm feeling in my spirit.
God bless your sweet hearts, and you just go right ahead and have a good cry. Tears are helpful.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. You have shown each day that God truly does place people where they are most needed.
May He continue to bless you all as you do his work and face the challenges still ahead.
I found your blog through a friend on another blog and have been moved and inspired with your work.
don't even know you, but i wish i could give you the biggest hug! think and pray with you often! love from colorado.
want to add this:
psalm 90:16 & 17
May your deeds BE SHOWN to your servants, your splendor to THEIR children. May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; ESTABLISH the work of our hands FOR US--yes, ESTABLISH the work of OUR HANDS.
as i read about your days, many times i see that these words are happening for you all! god is with you! much love!
Thank you for taking time and effort to keep us updated.
Suggestion: You might consider adding pertinent information for us on the left side of the screen between the twitter and Our Story that needs to be a bit more permanent--such as Troy's phone number (for urgent replies or messages) or where to donate (so that people don't have to keep asking/searching) the person in charge of orchestrating docs, etc. and her contact info, or urgent needs. Otherwise I fear these messages get lost or stacked under the newer ones and are thus unread.
our week revolves around you and your family's safety ...
sending all our love and prayers...
all out love

thank you for being there to be the Lord's hands and feet - Isaiah 30:31butthey who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;they shall mount up with wings(B) like eagles;they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. - praying
I am getting caught up in reading the past few posts. You are doing God's work and it is amazing! You are where you need to be when you need to be there!
I continue to pray for you and Troy and all the lives you touch and all the people of Haiti.
Got info on the MAF hangar at the airport. Have texted Troy and notified Jen, but here it is again if those are lost:
Supplies are available for the taking from Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) hangar.
Go to intnl gate and turn east. Between intnl and domestic gates is MAF, red and white aircraft, usually a DC-3 parked out front. Hangar has a roof but no walls.
I saw medicines off-loaded. Everything is undesignated and available to you. They are serving small agencies who can find them.
I'm praying this helps a great deal.
Chris
have a blessed week Troy and Tara.
Prayers are offered for you and the people that you are working with in Haiti. Let alone all of Haiti as it struggles to gain a foot hold in regrouping to start a new. We so appreciate all that you and your family are doing there! Please know that God continues to hold you in His arms for comfort, strength and love! God Bless!

Dear Troy and Tara,
Your blog was passed along to me by a friend recently, and I have followed it daily with interest and prayer.
I was listening to this song, Still, as I prayed for Haiti and for all of those involved, and wanted to share it with you, along with a scripture:
Psalm 73:23-26
May the Lord continue to strengthen you and all involved with this terrible disaster, and may He give you restorative rest and sleep each night.
Praying in Ontario,
Joanne and family
P,S. My daughters and I ordered purses/bags from the site you posted on your blog....have passed the word to friends to have a look at the beautiful bags!
